I would like to see some sort of continuity in a lower priced bullion coin like the crocs. Whether they stick with the same croc, a different croc, or a different animal. Just something that comes in tubes and competes with maples or eagles price wise.

I agree, the croc was the only set I caught at the beginning and now they don't seem to be doing anymore. Was a fair price for a quality coin.

With the milk blobs and the cut off tail design on what few croc's I bought it's understandable why they would stop minting these.

In terms of pure silver bullion stacking, some people are happy to pay that bit more to have it from a world recognised mint / legal government tender. With the Perth Mint being arguably the worlds best mint, I think they are missing out on a good chunk of sales by not having a standard lower premium bullion coin line.

That won't be the same coin. Item d. has the initials IJ. John Mercanti designed the Wedge-tailed Eagle bullion coin, so this isn't that one as the inscription would read JM.

Australian Funnel-Web Spider - Commercial Quality - Silver Bullion Coin
The design on the Australian Funnel-Web Spider - Commercial Quality (1oz) silver proof coin, consists of a representation of an Australian funnel-web spider. The coin includes the following inscriptions 'AUSTRALIAN FUNNEL-WEB SPIDER', '2015 1oz 999 SILVER' and the initials of the designer Aleysha Howarth 'AH'.

Is this the crocs successor, or is the Croc just a one off? Does anyone know for sure what the answer is.

Post 12 is on the money.

Having said that, the coins in the Determination are "Proposed."

There's no guarantee they will be minted.

But is there going to be a 2015 (non-colorized) version of the 2014 design?

Didn't look like it, at least per that document..

Koala's are Perth's true bullion coin.

The Ten oz is the test.

    Perth are testing their tubes!

Once they have mastered the packaging and "seals" you will see continuity.

During Perth's "discontinuity period" (Research) you have the opportunity to pick-up "The" bullion numismatics of the future imo.

I think it's nice. I bought the 2015 and it's also very nice. Some Koala coins are nice, and some are ugly. But then, it's the same with women, right?
