Perth Mint 2012 release date?

I know many of you are planning the same, so I hope someone might know;

When is the Perth Mint planning to release the 2012 Dragon Silver and Gold coins?

 

I don't know (guessing September), but they'll probably will be sold out 1 month later.

 

Usually first week of September. Be gone by end of the month so have your cashola ready !

 

Thanks guys...do you expect there will be a maximum order per customer?

 

This is going to be fun.

I can already see me ordering 900 of the 1oz dragons and few rolls of 1/2oz.

 

Not for the ordinary (bullion) ones.

 

I really can't wait for this one.I hope it looks awesome and lives up to all the hype.
Anyone know when the design get drawn up for the dragon?

 

That would make sense, as it would help keep the same consistency throughout the whole series... and the artist/s could maintain a common style/theme.

 

Bullion will be first in, no limits. Proof there could be limit I suppose as there is only 5,000 same with the coloureds which will be 3,800. Gilded at 50,000 probably first in, no limit. Remember with the bullion only the 1oz has the 300,000 limit and the 10kg I think a 100 limit. All other sizes the mint can produce at as many as they like until the next coin is released a year later, Snake. So I presume the mint will be pumping out all sizes except the 1oz well into 2012 to meet demand.

 

We need a competition for first one who can find an image of the 2012 Dragon!
