I want to buy 5 1oz gold cast bars from the Perth Mint....Should I buy the new ones with the serial number on the back or the original ones?...would the new ones with the serial number be worth more in the future?

My crystal ball says they will both only be worth what someone is willing to pay for them

The serial numbersd ones might or might not take off. Or they could be disliked and and hard to move in the future

If you are looking to purchase 5 then why not mix it up between the 2

The ones with lowest premium will worth more in the future :D

Personally I like the non-serialised better. Check out the vid for how they compare in looks - and of course there's the novelty factor ("limited" edition) and potential for SMSF to consider.

But now that both are the same price what is one to do? The conundrum.... how to decide
Can i have my cake and eat it too?
Do i look left first and then right or right and then left?
one leg at time or both legs at once when putting on trousers

This may be the start of something that will never end:)
