Hi Guys, I would like a little feedback from personal experiences and not just local stackers here in Perth if you had dealt with the three main bullion dealers here (as far as I know there are only three). If there are others in Perth please let me know. -Perth Mint -Perth Bullion -ABC bullion. Up until yesterday I just thought there was only PM and PB here until ABC came up on my search, and they seem to be the cheapest out of the three for both gold and silver bars no matter what the size when comparing the same product. However they do no seem to have a large variation of stock unlike PB.
PB are good for variety, but they take a LONG time to deliver and you have to chase them up a lot too (from my experience)
I like the kooky guy across the road from the mint, think he's called Perth Mint Coins. He's cheaper than the mint for bullion coins, about same price for bars, and a bit more relaxed than the mint. Assuming he's still there, I haven't been for a while. PB are fine, I mostly deal with them now.
LOL is he actually called the kooky guy. I can't recount seeing anything else around PM. They have an office on St. Georges terrace which has a "small holding on metals" apparently. I rang the 1300 number and they told me at address which i can't remember. The prices are cheaper than PB and PM!
I've had no issues with Perth Bullion. As someone else said, delivery isn't quick, but that's ok for me.
Have been to PB aswell with no complaints (walk in). But have only bought one thing before joining up here. I will be investing more so would like to get a feel on who and what is around, an where else to ask a better than on here. As we seen already, some local stackers didn't even know ABC had a small place here.
Maybe not, but he's definitely more entertaining than the bloodless functionaries at the mint. Runs a good line in conspiracy theories. http://www.mintcoins.com.au/ Tiny little blue shopfront.
I like Perth Bullion a lot. Great prices, keep you updated, fast response to emails and frequent updates. However, I bought bullion bars. I think someone on the forum bought liberates from them and got them all scratched up, so maybe consider carefully whether you want to be minted coins without capsules from them.
I will never trade with Perth Bullion again. I have had back order issues with them and I have also received silver semi-numismatic coins from them with significant tarnish even though they were relatively recent mintage. Complaints fell on deaf ears. Buyer beware!
