    Pennykey dates:
    Very Rare - 1937 pattern
    Rare - 1920 no dots, 1930
    Scarce - 1925, 1946

    Half-Pennykey dates
    Very Rare - 1916 mule
    Rare - 1923
    Scarce - 1915, 1918, 1939 Roo

    1937 pattern exists

    1916 Indian mule. first identified in 1965 $100k+
    1930 3k $15k-$20k Proof 1930 $2 million
    1925 117k
    1946 363k
    1931 494k
    1914 720k
    1915 960k

    They minted 9 million 1920 in each . dot no dot and dot above below. 5 varieties. 45 million coins, dot above top is the most valuable one followed by double dot followed by no dot.

    Half penny - mintage
    dates not issued 37 56 57 58

    1915H 720k
    1916 mule
    1918 1.4mil scarce
    1923 mintage over 1 million however only 15k or so where issued as 1923 date coins the rest where dated 1922
    1924 681k
    1930 638k
    1931 369k
    1939 roo reverse
    1944 729k

    A lot of confusion on how many minted
    And I see price is starting to get serious even in Good to fine

    that's because it is hard to pick a real one. a lot of people think they have one but they only have a normal coin with a worn out/tampered with dot or a die break caused the dot not to be struck on the coin. this has led to confusion ion the past as to the actual mintage and prices are rising as the rarity of the coin is starting to come to light.
    you need to be full bottle on identifying the different details in the whole strike rather than just rely on the absence of the dot to id the coin as genuine.
