    Hello,
Checking my change today and found a 1972 5c coin and 1972 10cent coin.
Big deal I hear you scream. The five is the lowest mintage unc about $35
Checked eBay past sales for circulated $10 average. So not a bad % gain for 5cent
    The 10c is about $4.
Anyway put a smile on my dial. :D
My lady hates me getting change. She usually says something like "do you always have to do that in public, how old are you, grow up!":(

I use mcdonnalds pocket coin guide. It comes out every year for about $35 but a copy out of date ie last years goes for like $10. Handy to see what to look out for and mintages

I put the word out at work as a collector that I'll swap pre 1970 or any interesting coins. Lot's of 66, 67, 68 but no 66 20 cent wavy yet, well keep trying :)

I've never bothered to check 5 or 10 cent coins.

IMO you should be keeping all your 5 and 10 cents regardless.. the cost of fabrication alone exceeds the face value.. pow pow

I was hoarding up to 20c but recently cashed in a bunch except young face QE11 and some specials like the cent of fed series and sir don brad
