Hi Stackers, I have a bill I’d like someone to pay in bitcoin for me please & I will bsb you the amount required. If anybody could help I it would be appreciated. Regards Gaz
You raise a great point here. Who in there right mind is going to sell bitcoin by using it to pay a bill when most people will be well under water with it? I am sure there are plenty of people that are still in the black but they are the same ones that will be holding till it hits a million. Bitcoin can not be used for payments because most of the BC people hold OWES THEM MONEY.
Australia Post has been selling BTC via post offices for about 12 months approx. Quick and easy. You do not need ID or an account and can pay with cash (anonymous) last time I checked. There is a max $ a/m of BTC you can buy but I forget what it is. All you need is the BTC address/QR Code you want it sent to. The PO scans code from your phone or laptop. I do not know what the fee / spot price are as it varies. Just check and compare to an exchange spot price/fee first to make sure you are not getting ripped off. I have not personally bought this way but the person at P O explained it all to me earlier this year. Another way to buy anonymously is via LocalBitcoins. Not all of the sellers will do it anon , but some will but you have to do a face to face deal and unless you live in or near a capital city this may not be a convenient way to buy unless you are buying/selling a large volume of BTC.
