    My coin photo technique seems to be constantly evolving. Here's a shot that I just took of a 2007 Panda, you can see how it is an extension of the later 2008 photo compared to a very brightly lit coin.

    I saw it. But i think your photos are the better i saw in a lot of lifes

    Wow! Amazing! How do you do that?

    How do you avoid the camera showing up on the mirror surface of the coin?

    I'm off axis some. Before I take the shots, I spend a while looking at the coin from various angles to see where I want to shoot it from.

    You realise that no one on this forum takes better coin shots than you do TomD !

    Upload some shots of some coin that has circulated in the past ( like Morgans, etc ) and show how it looks.

    I'm a little skinny on circulating stuff, got a few Morgans but have never shot them. I'll dig one out later. I do have some European fractionals and this 1964 quarter that was in pretty good shape.
