    Hello,
I just purchased this dragon dollar and would like to give me your opinion on the state of conservation and what may be its price.

well to start with it is one of the most heavily forged coins on eBay, then there is the un even centre beads, porous metal and soft details. now I am not the expert on these (one4one is the man) but I would not touch this with a 10 foot pole.
    but that's just my opinion

I call this a token/ medallion made with mixed metals in them.

    Looks real ..

This is an 1897 I'd say which is scarce to rare and low mintage

This specimen has poor eye appeal yet should still fetch $100 .. A pro clean and grading might be suggestible but I wouldn't usually

Grade is f but less with the lack of eye appeal

In the end, I returned to the seller. I think it was totally false, weighing only 23.9 grams and had 39 mm diameter.

These were famous for being underweight and containing less silver than nearby provinces who also issued crown size coinage.

Depends how much you paid as to how good a purchase it was.. money back is always good.

I have paid US $325. It was an auction of a company auction and had no picture of him until he was sent. They were marked as VF +

Yeah youd need to study the actual coin to know if its worth $325 .. i saw one in mint state for $300K but this is far from that.. But tricky bidding on a coin with no image

RE: VF? ... american grading is FAR more generous, its F or less in Commonwealth grading.
