    Hi guys, dont know much about opal...

    How would you go about learning the value of opals like pictured...

    Anyone take a stab at their worth?

    Maybe take them to a lapidary club and see what they’d give you

    Hey thanks thats a good idea, they might tell us what its worth but dont want to sell, just curious the value...

    It takes a lifetime to figure out opal's value
    Not much I'd say
    Why is it in water - to make it look better then it is ,
    It could crack when you leave it out to the elements
    Where's it from ?
    The color you want is red on black from the Ridge
    But fire opal has some value
    You really need to take each piece out to see properly
