Dont have it in my hand as its not allowed until the morning. But It was put in bag with my other 2 proofs i bought. 100% mine already. I just spoke to the mint again and was told you can buy tomorrow(pay) but they are not ready for delivery until the 18th like i was first told. Maybe some dealers have to wait for shipping etc.

Oh and i have 2 gilded dragons pre ordered. He said not gauranteed for 2 but 1 should be no problems at all. As for direct mint purchases, if it says stock available on there computer and you pay for it, its 100% yours, just cant pickup or get delivered until the 18th of Oct.

    Hope that clears things up.

I used to motor a boat all around capeyork towing a halco laser pro in Pauline Hanson colours looking for Spanish mackerel. I think they call it trolling

Before anyone gets peeved I have one, it wasnt from the P/Mint so its not a inside job. You know what i mean.LOL. It was from a dealer.

With only a total of 11,500 1oz Proof Red Dragons being made(Typeset and singles) compared to 7,500 Plain ones it should do very well. Possibly better. Might buy a 1/2 ouncer too. Forgot about them.

I'm guessing there will be bullion ones just like there with Plain Dragons. The proofs are for keeping, but i should end up having 3 or 4 so may trade or sell 1. Not sure yet. I wouldnt be ripping anyone at this stage for say a 10 ounce bar or anything right now. The thing is i think more will want to keep atleast 1. Maybe more than the standard proof. A bigger spread of owners and potentially less people to trade or sell if there not in the trading loop.

I think you would be nuts not to keep 1 to look at. It is the best and most recognised lunar animal in the world.Only my opinion, i'm a rabbit also.

    Time will tell.

Even if they do mint another 160,000 bullion/specimen red dragons in capsules for worldwide mintage of 170,000 singles in total its no biggy. 500,000 is still no biggy as these are proofs and the others were only ever specimens according to info at P/mint past issues . Theres quite a bit of difference in appearance as you all know.

As posted earlier by someone else, a lot of the lower grade coins will be spread around the world.

    Imagine if 10,000 is it.

i emailed the Perth Mint a couple weeks ago to ask if any pre orders on the dragon colored proof and also if colored were going to be available in bullion coins. The reply I got was that no pre orders(sort of expected that) and they also said that colored would not be released as bullion.
I really don't know what to expect because they keep coming up with surprises.
This also makes me wonder where all the other colors fit in. Surely they can't release them as proofs and have like 9 different colored proofs.

I read in another thread that the colored are supposed to be released as a set in November so it will be interesting what the $ will be for those.

Hoping all goes well with Perth Mint online and I can get a typeset and color proof. Maybe gilded would be nice to have. I might just get 1 of those as well.

At first I wasn't very keen on gilded, but now I consider myself a fan. I think the dragon will look pretty cool! Now, I want to collect Series II gilded. Hoping I can find them for a reasonable price.
