    Hello Stackers,

Does anyone know, or is able to find a graph or a chart that shows the Number of operating Silver Mines in the world in the last
    50 years?

How much of current world silver extraction currently comes from Silver-only mines?

I am aware that due to the costs involved ( in the past ) silver would be mined as a by-product of base metals mines ( copper and such ) ?

    Anyone?

All I know was that Mexico and Australia had the only Silver mines in production but this was old information when I heard it about 4 years ago. It was also on one of the early sites trying to promote silver before silver took off so I am not sure how good the information was either.
