Just buy and don't look back.

I helped my GF and their parents buy in January, it was $30.5 then. It went down to $26, we cost averaged in and bought more at $28.

It took a month for it to get back up, we didn't time it right. But there was still at least 5 weeks wait to get the stock.

Anyway looking back now, its $41.30 and climbing =D.

You can never time it right, either cost average or buy it and forget about it.

There are many smart people here who say buy. There are many smart people on the web who point to a coming correction. I tend to think that there is always 'another' bargain if you're not sure. Some old hands here got silver at 10-15 per oz. Others have just come in at 35+ Either way cost averaging is your friend as Bargain Hunter says

A coming dip could help your averages and if it rises then you've bought well.

Cocaine, strippers, and Johnny walker. Best time you and your wife will ever have!!

Either that or Dollar cost average as some folks say.

If you are going to be panicking about an investment or forever worried about it, I'd think you are outside your risk tolerance and perhaps look for something to invest in you are more comfortable with.

If you buy and silver tanks, how will you feel? Will it strain things with your wifie?

If you answer that you will feel depressed and things will be strained at home, is it worth it ?

Buy the $10k of silver but all in diff coins and very importantly the corresponding bezels for the coins.

So if the price goes down, you ( or she ) can derive a 'utility dividend' by wearing the coins as jewellery.

til the market picks up again,..

    its like an insurance policy

    :)

I think you need to be cautious as seldom does something rise so fast and not correct.
I am sure there will be profit takers selling silver soon.
I have stalled buying as I feel nervous about buying on record highs but I might regret that as silver seems to continually creep up in price.
If I had 10k to spend I would find my best source of competitively priced bullion coins and place an order for 1 - 2K each week whilst monitoring the daily price.

If I had 10k and my wife was fine with it, I would spend it all on silver bullion (large bars). Obtaining cheap silver is no longer in our future.

Still have to get my house and 3 acres sold...I cringe every time I log in and silver is a dollar or two higher. :/

10oz bars wouldn't look too shabby as earrings either. Hang one off each ear.

i have a question, how often do these dips happen in history? how much do you think it'll go down if/when this dip happens?

    embrace the silver stackers schizophrenia

the silver side of the personality hopes the price will go up
the stacking side of the personality hopes the price will go down

and there is a fine silvery line between genius and madness ;)
