    Hi guys,
    1) I'm a noob and just bought 1kg silver from ABCbullion the other day and I just notice that the silver bar is dented on one side. I was wondering if this will affect the selling price in the future? It's my mistake, I should've check it first ><.

    2) If ABC silver and PAMP silver cost the same, how come the ABC Gold and PAMP Gold cost different?

Not ideal, you'd prefer un-dented of course but with cheaper bars like ABC or Ainslie as opposed to say PAMPS a dent like yours has wouldn't matter to resale value.

    Welcome Hellrage,
Looks like ABC has cleaned up their act over the last couple of years.
Your bar looks almost half decent compared to what they use to sell.
I have bought and sold much much worse looking bars.
As for resale, the most I would pay for buyback is spot as I regard these bars as generic not premium like Perth Mint or Pamp.
Just not sure why you didn't get the Pamp bar instead of this one if they are both the same price.

Looks fine to me, I have 2 from ABC that look similar, but if you are worried, I am willing to purchase it at reduced price as it is damaged. ;) :)

8 weeks wait isn't too bad.
When I ordered in October/November 2008, I had to wait 16 weeks for ABC Sydney to deliver my bars. :(

    Hiya hellrage, welcome to stacking.

If you don't mind the wait you can order Pamp bars from ABC. Pay the price of the day (it's locked in) and pick them up when they arrive. I'm still waiitng for bars that I orderd in December. They are expected in March. Its just a matter of taking your sales invoice into ABC's premises and collecting. Aim to do it on a Wednesday then maybe get to the regular city meet up and show your nice new shiny bar around. So far I have not been able to get any Wednesday's but sooner or later.

    Remember that time well.

My first bars looked like the OPs.

Filmy and a ding or two in a few.

PAMP and extruded PM are the prettier bars. USA and Canadian bars are often a good deal sexier.
