No BU Silver Dragons Available Till Jan 2012 (1/2, 2 oz and 5 oz)

    So some of you heard already. No silver dragons (1/2, 2 and 5 oz) coins till Jan 2012 via PM (according to BB)
    Supposedly in Jan 2012 is when production starts. "Supposedly"

    Wow premiums are going to soar, kudos if you picked up some early. IMHO flip em for some kooks!

    Actually I can't see why premiums would soar - everyone will know that in 2 months more will be available at normal prices.

    Normal premiums. Cheaper ways to buy 2oz or 5oz of silver now without paying through the nose.

    This Perth Mint Dragon Lunar saga is REALLY ugly... i fail to see how some people got them in the first round while others who ordered upon them coming out missed out and must wait for supposed phase 2 of production.

    Hmmm should i wait in purgatory til next year..

    The kicker.. Shifting resources to minting a record 1 tonne Gold Coin.. nice novelty but way to go pissing off your investor base Perth Mint!

    I Hear one thing and see another "s t r e c t h e d" OR not interested in producing bullion?

    mm... they have had 9xx 1kg bars(still got 60)... and now even got around 1500 10oz bars... So they have enough physical silver.

    I think they really have to extend their minting hours, perhaps, 24/7...

    Yes, got the e-mail this am from Bullion Bourse--did manage to get 5 -2 oz coins sent to me about 1 month ago---still have 25 -2 oz and 20- 1/2 oz on order---and January seems like aloooong way off---curious as to anybody's thought as to whether these orders will be filled or not?

    prices right now are irrelavant, as no-one has any but apmex---and their premiums are criminal---but when owned by JPMorgan--what do you expect?

    I thought that none of those coins were going to be produced after December 31st? This whole dragon saga gets weirder by the day.

    I got shafted! By Perth and by BullionBourse.. not happy at all.

    Of course im not going park up my finances with BB as captial for them to play with for 4+ months as the world goes by based on a PM estimate that didnt happen the first time round,

    Once bitten, twice shy .. i wont do business with pirates trying to fleece me and dont appreciate being treated like a pleb who gets what he is given.

    The lack of communcation and attempts to make this right are DISGUSTING .. im not hearing the word compensation, in fact im hearing a command tone telling me what has been done.. isnt this my money?

    Cause and effect.. repurcussions. Reap what you sow. BB wants to have there cake and eat it too.

    Something to be said for ONLY selling product you are in possession of.. i will now put a much higher value on IN STOCK and will put up defences to protect myself againest any future shaftage.

    Wow I got lucky then. Received 2oz dragon from Bullion Bourse just last week. Mind you that was the fulfilment of an order placed in mid September so it sure took a while.

    One for one-I hear ya-not happy at all, but no way to get the dragons ordered for that price anywhere else-so if you want dragons-what other option is there-sub in kooks or koalas? Have waited 2 months--try being me--everything I bought was when spot was $40/oz!!!! Patience I guess--should at least be able to cancel and rebook at lower spot price--or receive some sort of compensation -a free kook for every $750 of dragons or something along those lines---that is the part that really burns me up--bullcrap

    That's why it's a good idea to buy a good quantity on the day of issue.

    Sure you might get stuck holding expensive silver but when there is a limited issue (1oz dragons BU) and limits per order, those coins can offset any capital loss on the other un-limited bullion purchased. Obviously everyone has a different DCA and investment strategy but....

    I received my dragons 2oz from Bullion Bourse no problem and they always reply to my emails.
    I will shop with them again.

    I really dont understand how some got theres and i didnt.. thankfully im not gonna let it plague me any futher cos i have closure and i can move on.

    If they do end up minting them i will waiting til a store has them in stock and make a purchase, not gonna let the dragons burn me mentally any longer.

    Meeko - If i had received my Dragons like you id be a happy camper also, not sure how youve managed it but congrats and if your happy why change good call. You can only work off the situation you are presented with. . Clearly our situation are different.
