Interesting set & great result, well done! Edit to ask: do you guys get slabs back in NGC boxes or could you? Ps: consecutive serial# set with high score, value add!
I dont know if you can get your slabs sent back in NGC boxes. If you can I would. I am sending more for grading next week I will find out. Personally I see a consecutive serial # sets as more desirable, as far as it adding value I'm not sure. Some of the guys on here would be better qualified then me to answer that.
In the regular commemorative coins market, the answer is yes. Better yet, a set with same grade. There are people who will pay more for consecutive number. At the very least, it make it easier to sell.
http://www.collectons.com/shop/item/2861/NGC-Plastic-Storage-Box-for-20-Slab-Coin-Holders http://www.air-tites.com/coin_slab_storage_boxes.htm Both have the 20 slab holders. Problem is as usual both in the US
NGC also sells a 10ct storage box for large slabs ,they do sell them direct, you need to call customer service for a form to buy them ,they will e mail it to you............also e bay has the NGC boxes from resellers, NGC USED to give out those boxes for free when you graded at least 20 coins
Try and find a seller of Intercept Shield Boxes. Intercept boxes react with and neutralize gases that cause coins to spot, discolor and tarnish.
found the site for interceptshield. They no longer sell from there site. But they have a list of dealers that do. All are in the US. It's a good site explains how they work + shows what is available http://www.interceptshield.com/faqs.html
I use these for storing slabs. They look pretty good and are made by lighthouse. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Wood-Box-50-...990?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c2c027d7e
Are these heavy? I'm looking at these, just waiting for a reply from seller about weight. They look great.
