    So I just got back a few hours ago from a couple of days in Shanghai and wow! Pandamonium!

    If anyone has got any more 2010s (especially gold fractionals) hold onto them! They are going through the roof in prices over there!

    The recent spike in gold has seen all the 2010s fly off the shelves at all the major dealers, and even the 2011s are increasing above their usual bullion prices.

    I arrived late to the party in Shanghai, but fortunately had some friends who kept some 2011 sets for me.

    I haven't seen such a run on supply before.

    For those that doubt whether 2010s will appreciate, please sell your Pandas to me :)

    Similarly, the 2011s (both gold and silver) are in my opinion likely to appreciate very quickly, especially as stock of these are running at the their all time lows.

    I wonder if this month's pricepedia will reflect the stuff you saw in China, would be crazy!

    The 2009 1/4 and 2010 1/4oz Gold are probably over 500 USD now?

    Sounds good, too bad I don't have any older pandas.

    Is $58 US a fair, good, great, or bad price for a 2009 silver panda? A store in Seattle has it for that, I might pick some up when I visit, if it's a good price.

    Oh yeah, the 2010s are doing well; BUT the 2009s!!! Wow! Amazing prices! A lot of APMEX panda prices were below what the dealers were willing to sell at.

    In fact, one dealer I spoke to was heading to the USA today or tomorrow to buy up a lot of Pandas that had been previously exported to the USA since they were selling cheaper over there.

    There has supposedly been lots of Chinese news reports surrounding the Pandamania in China, but I haven't had time to watch the TV since I've been running from dealer to dealer trying to get whatever was left. Will try and get back to the [NEWS] updates later today.

    Maybe Diablo could let us know if he was willing to buy some more and post - with his % on top. No pressure! :)

    Possibly one post to WA and then F-F for handover or even local Registered would be cheaper than 2 posts from Canada. Just a thought.
