Hey all. Been lurking and posting a bit here for a couple months. 2012 is the year I've decided to start stacking silver. Focusing mostly on stacking bars for the long term, but am also buying coins that catch my eye. My best is a 2008 Kook that I scored for higher than I wanted to pay, but good price seeing the value of the coin. I think that, in terms of coin collecting, I would like to have an official country coin from each year that I stack, starting in the year that I started, so 2012. But need some help. What is the "official" coin of each country? US has ASE, Canada has Maples, Mexico has Libertads, UK has Britannias. What are the coins of other countries? Thanks for any and all replies. Bill EDIT: Not really looking for MS69 type stuff, but would just like to have a coin from each country that produces an "official silver coin."
Wow, panda. I knew that, but spaced it. That's what I get for posting after working a 16 hour night shift... Thanks for the quick reply fantuzzi!
This is the list I worked off for denominated coins: http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-18660-less-popular-silver-bullion-coins-worth-having.html
I made a list and photo guide last year for 2011. There are some more but I haven't had a chance to update it yet. http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-11386-2011-photo-guide-to-world-silver-bullion-coins.html
Wow, some great replies! The thread links are wonderful. Now have to figure out what and where to buy in the US in addition to the 5 or 10 oz bar I planned on stacking each month. Thanks everyone! Bill
don't buy that bar because you know 5 or 10 Oz's a month will not be enough once the addiction takes hold you just have to have more
