Hi everyone, I just started stacking and have already read many helpful posts on this site. Today I bought 5 American Silver Eagles and 5 Canadian Maple Leafs. I have a coin store walking distance from my house and they have been there forever, but I never really thought about buying metals etc even though I am fully aware of what has been happening in the world. So, now I am on board the "stacker train". I also ordered some silver online from APMEX and JM Bullion so yeh, I am already getting addicted to it. FYI, I am retired for years now and have no debts...etc etc. Only using risk capital for any investments including metals. Anyway, see you in the forums.
Thanks everyone...oh I see many of you are from Australia. I am from America BTW. I was in Aus in 1995 for a few weeks and I loved it. Spent some time in Sydney, Cairns and even went water skiing in the Blue Mountains area or something like that. In Sydney I met one of the Charles Swab brothers and he let us go through his back yard to get down to the water to my friends boat in Sydney Harbor. Weird I remember something like that. Well, this was during a time when everyone was talking about the stock market and NOBODY I knew was talking about commodities and certainly not Gold or Silver. How times have changed. Someone was asking my strategy....well not sure exactly he means, but I currently am buying Silver to hold it in case the dollar crashes, so its basically a hedge against what may happen.
