    How do you know the number of watchers? I thought in the public ebay arena we can only see visits, bids (sans ID), number of unique bids...

    Not sure about Australia, but eBay North America has standard fees at 10%, if you have a store, previously it was 7%, it's now dropped to 6% as of June 28.

    1. People in Aus who didn't buy them from the Perth Mint because they don't wish to deal with the Perth Mint.
    2. People in Aus who didn't buy them from the Perth Mint because they were too slow/didn't see them for sale which was only for 1 day.
    3. People overseas who tried to buy them from the Perth Mint but were not allowed to buy....Aussie sales only for the cards.
    4. People overseas who have bought the SH but want both carded and uncarded types and are willing to pay a premium to get them.
    5. People overseas who haven't bought the uncarded because they only want to get the rarer variety and are willing to pay a premium to get them.
    6. Modern Numismatists (hope that's the right term) collecting the first coin of a new series.
    7. People who like Horseys.
    8. Other flippers.

    These same buyers will be around next week as well as this time next year.

    Others are cleverly waiting before putting their auctions up. :) More auctions will for sure drive the prices down.

    Although if you look for example Monaco 2013 20 UN anniversary Euro coin there are many auctions, but that doesn't affect price much. :)
