I like it but to be honest I'm not sure that I would trust the Canadian mint not to produce a coin that didn't get milk spots

    :)
I think we have some Canadians showing their national pride.
Nothing wrong with that and i concur with their response.
And for the record i actually like the maple leaf design. Simple and looks good imo... but i don't think that i will be buying many, if any, when i restock.

20$ for 8 grams of Ag, very expensive. I'd pass

That's not really the point, I think.
The point is you're getting a $20 coin for $20 CAD. So the monetary value actually matches what you're paying.
A lot of numismatic coins are a lot higher than the actual coin. Their 1/2 oz. Looney Tune coins are going for about $50 CAD but the coin is labeled at '10 Dollars'
What that really means, I'm not sure. I guess at legal tender, you can use it and still get out what you paid into it. So... yeah..

I think this one will be very hard to get hold of for $20 if you live outside North America.

I was collecting the set but it was costing around $25 per coin and then an eBay seller never delivered on a pre order so I kind of gave up.

Wouldn't mind one of these though.

Yeah, I think it only works well if you're in Canada. They are manufacturer of the '$20 for $20'.. '$50 for $50' etc, series so it was designed for them.

Heck, even in here in the USA this coin is priced at about $25 US. Obviously not $20 and obviously extremely high for 1/4 oz of silver. But again, that's not the point.

All that aside, I love Looney Tunes and subscribed to their 1/2 oz series and probably gonna get this coin. This a great collector's piece for anyone who loves classic cartoons. I am so glad RCM did this!
