    Welcome!

Collecting sets is a mug's game, you always end up over paying for one or two coins just because you 'need' them to complete the set, plus each year they can just bring out any old rubbish and you are committed to buying it, no mater how bad the design.

Good job you don't have an addiction to the Lunar coins, that would send you broke in record time :)

There are regular meets around Australia, we're having a sydney meet this Sunday. A good way to pick up coins.

Life may be short but it will outlast my money.

I have a sort of set of the Kooks, picked up many of them during the reminting fiasco.

Not got many of the Koalas.

Started on the RAM Kangaroos but they got very expensive very quickly.

Not been a fan of the Lunars over much but spent far too much in 2012 with the lunar dragons, just narrowly missed out on the 3 coin proof set that was auctioned a few days ago. Just as well probably!

I have enjoyed collecting the coins but with production quality of some lines now showing milkspotting etc. I think it will become harder or more expensive to keep the sets going with good quality coins.

Yes it gets addictive! You can still pick up 2014 and 2015 WTE,s from members of SS because they are unsure of the collector future of the WTE. 2014 is the one to secure "NOW" 2015 is quite easy to get.

I have collected since I started only just over a year ago a complete set of kooks 1990 to 2016 including 10 square cap originals and 9 proof issue early leather envelope originals 1991 -1999. a complete set of koalas 2007- 2016 and 2 complete sets of American silver eagles 1986 -2016

I also have all the SBSS 1oz as well as many others maples Britannia,s crocs FWS, but my favourite by far is the 2014 -2015 WTE :)

Perth Bullions home brand Bull and Bear silver round is quite nice, its cheap and in a capsule if you wanted some cheap low premium generic rounds.

Since many or most of us here are silver-addicted, you undoubtedly are in good company.

The only barrier between a stacker/collector and her/his ideal stack/collection is fear.

Otherwise simply stack and collect at the pace that is most reasonable for you.
