Nepalese Mohur Gold Coin?

    Any information about this coin would be appreciated.
    Coin and its coin protector weights 7 grams so my guess is that this coin is a 1 Mohur not 4 Mohur.

    I can tell you the older ones where in the Australian Proclamation coinage of 1800, it was introduced around 1600 and then dropped as problems arose within the regions due to varieties, at one stage something like 72+ varieties existed. Later it was minted under British rule through the British East Indies in the late 1790's due to the scarce availability of Silver Rupees as mentioned above. It was at this stage that Governor King's proclamation was issued and the Gold Mohur was included in this list.

    The older Mohur was 12.36g 30mm Diameter and milled edge.
    It is noted many Gilded copies are abound. Not sure on modern issue but older be wary.

    A little off topic but shows the history a little with this coin, series. If anyone has an older one I may be interested :)
