    HI ALL I AM A NEW COLLECTOR I NEED HELP PLEASE ON LOCAL GROUP THAT MEET FOR COINS I ALSO DO STAMPS WOULD APPRECIATE ANY TEXT OR FORUM REPLY FROM MEMBERS TO THESE GROUPS AROUND NOOSA SUNSHINE COAST AREA AND WERE TO BUY COIN POUCHES STORAGE CONTAINERS I WANT TO NOW SHOULD I CLEAN THEM OR NOT MUCH APPRECIATE ANY HELP

    hi thanks i have lots off penny old italy coins half pence do i leave them in original solar or better cleaned and put in sleave tried a couple with vinegar and salt that worked ok i just don't want damage value off coins i have been given through family and trying to log what i have and what they are worth i am a apple computer man is there an app to take a photo and add info off the coin to it your thoughts would be much appreciated

    General rule of thumb is to not clean coins. Buy some soft cotton gloves, which are inexpensive. lots of information on this forum, as well as YouTube
