Gold, jewellery washes up on Venezuelan beach. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/12/world/venezuela-gold-rush-fishing-village.html
Good to see it washing up somewhere that it's needed. They're living a hard life there at the moment, to say the least.
Initial guess was these jewellery pieces are from a Spanish Treasure Galleon wreck, about the right place for lighter items to wash up. Nope, the providence of the jewelry is mid-20th century.
I'm leaning to that it was planted by the government to calm protest. So sad what has happened in Venezuela. It was such a nice place.
Must be plastic costume jewelry because gold doesnt wash up on beaches haha. Gold colored aluminium foil maybe.
