I post links to articles, pics of my favorite silver, interesting banknotes, and some original material like my analysis of inflation by looking at historical postage rates. I hope you will take a look "The Silver Squirrel - Bullion, Bonds, and Banknotes" http://thesilversquirrel.blogspot.com/
I like those little one ounce MPM ingots too! I got 6 of those one day for $1 over spot. I'm experimenting with putting them in the freezer to add to whisky as to not water it down. They are small, silver is soft, and they have no sharp edges. It's funny you posted that today, because I JUST put them in the freezer.
... also I've from Charleston, South Carolina, so that background you have caught my attention very easily. And I just noticed that you have the other side of the morgan dollar as your avatar. that's cool.
Thanks Sam! I love Charleston - its one of the oldest and nicest cities I've ever been to, at least on this continent.
Gold and silver are stable solid state elements, so if they are .999 pure I can't see how it would. Gold is virtually indestructible, and the only real threat to silver is oxidation.
