    Miniroo what model and where did you get the furnace from if you dont mind me asking ?

    Fantastic! They was great to see. Hopefully one day you can fill that mold (rated for 2kg of gold) actually with 2kg of gold and then show us the vid :)

    Merv supplies just about all the gold buyers in Australia and does all the servicing & repairs in his workshop.
    Based in Frankston Melb' and a very nice bloke who goes out of his way to teach you everything you need to know about using the furnace.

    What is most important is the repairs and having someone local means it can be done easily, whereas buying one from overseas say on ebay would be very costly to ship back.

    Merv had input in the design of this furnace, the latest one is a faster heating element.

    I asked him if he wanted me to put the word out but he's quite happy with servicing existing customers and not really looking to grow too big but i'm sure he wouldn't knock back anyone that wanted one.
