Although I wasn't too interested in the proof coins, I checked my local PO and found a coloured 1/2oz lunar dragon proof and when I found they had sold out decided to buy it. Very shiny, and even the Mrs said it was cool. The kids wanted to touch it too much. I remember having a big box of world coins as a kid, and even borrowing the book of world coins from the library, but none looked as cool as a 1/2oz silver coin. Now I can't wait 'til my other coins arrive in the post. Bigger and shinier, this could get interesting.
Congratulations on number ONE! Better find a good spot for storage. As the numbers grow you'll soon find it hard to hide from eager hands!
That is a good start, I think my first coin was a grotty 50% English shilling from the 40s which I picked up at a boot fair. Still, more than made up for it now! Welcome (and stop touching the proofs)
Im due to get my first delivery soon also - nobody ever told me the adrenalin is this intence when you purchase silver or gold.... its really crazy!
