This is to be released 24th of May which is today. Anyone know the price and where we could find some. Looks like a beautiful coin.
249 a few scattered on e bay, high relief coin, a beauty, only downside if there is any high mintage 100,000 , i am waiting for market to calm down ........... i sure want one
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-chin...180888864412?pt=AU_Coins2&hash=item2a1dd1069c I'm keen to get one as well.. is there any value in doing a group buy? (assuming enough of us are interested in them, we can find a seller, the price comes down, etc, etc, ) edit: I wonder how much the 1kg is? Although it's not as nice a design as the 2oz, IMHO
Thanks for the link but ouch these are pricey from this seller I would pass , the $249 jc88... mentioned seems much more reasonable.
I totally agree.. it's very pricey. But with a 100K to shift I'm sure the price will drop once they appear on the market in numbers.
Not sure from where jc88.. sees 249 figure, but based on my knowledge even the issue price is much more than that.
I see the placeholder on PandaAmerica's site Maybe they'll be selling it later. http://www.pandaamerica.com/details.asp?item=10656&grp=1&categ=1
maybe I was mistaken and it was 349 I am not sure, i am getting old................. fyi Naoimi offered them to me 340 usd delivered to US today , hope he dont read this
I think as far as this goes the longer you wait the better off you are......... look at the 2012 scallop dragon 1 oz china 60,000 mintage ,1st came out at 280-300 firm raw ..............you have no problem buying them today for 200, unless you just gotta have it now ,I would put it on your wish list and let the dust settle for 30 days or so ............
Yeah this is a tough one , I thought the same thing on the 1/4 oz anniversary coins when I could have bought them from PA for $39 then they went to $59 then $69 , maybe not as much interest in these though so who knows maybe they will be in the $300 range?
