Seen a coin of this description issued on behalf of Cook Islands . Lots of blurb suggesting this is third in lunar series after snake and dragon. I can see the snake but the dragon only appears as Fiji issue. Am I being thick pom or are these part of same series or different /similar . If so what is the connection . Any help appreciated as I like the coins and am raiding the back of the sofa for savings
It looks like the same design type, just a different box with the 2014. I wish I had that much coin behind the sofa! hahaha
Also, from the mint standpoint, I think all coins from the cook islands and fiji were made by the new zealand mint. From what I have gathered, there is dispute about the coin from fiji, especially the fiji turtles. They are not making them anymore.
