More Smileys/Frowns

    Hey GP can we get some more smiley's ? I find the current lot insufficient to express my deep range of emotions when I want to bang my head against a wall, cry, get angry etc . I'm not sure if they have one to express SAVVY...
    But you really needn't include that one if you dont want. ;)

    It took me 6 months to get my avatar up for my posts. Also, I also get on the SS site automatically now so things are improving.

    My next project will be to use the smileys when I learn how to. They make a lot of sense on a site like this as sometimes my fellow stackers can take me the wrong way as I am not entirely serious all the time.

    Now if any of you fellow stacker want to help me, take it nice and slowly and explain slowly as I am only learning.

    Your help would be appreciated.

    errol43 when you 'quote' or 'post a reply' you'll see a collection of icons on the right. Just click your preferred icon with the mouse and presto:

    I just did that for a practice on Pirete Radio(MID TO6) and all Got was : ): etc Does it only show on other monitors and not your own?

    No,you need a space in between each smiley,I had the same problem :)

    Just follow these simple instructions:

    Type this ---> :

    And then immediately after (i.e. no space between characters) type this ----> )

    Then...PRESTO HEY!....you should be smiling! :)

    Once you've mastered smileys, we'll move onto BBCode. ;)

    Errol put a space before the smiley it should work then i had the same problem & worked out i needed a space before & after the smiley
