hi all., some simple bullion alchemy for you, if you want something fun and easy and safe to do, one day what you need. White vinegar, Copper (wire, sheet, bullion, coins etc) and Fools gold, Chalcopyrite in this case fill plastic or glass tub with vinegar, Copper and your Fools gold in between Starting to turn, The copper from the Cu bullion is dissolving and passing over to the Iron Pyrite after 15min @15c Finally Fools Gold Rocks.. I wanted to self power the reaction so added a silver 999 Maple as an opposing electrode with the copper bar and the Silver instantly went milky and started to dissolve. oops.. lol "lucky im not a maple fan" You know the my coin is milky threads? Vinegar did it,. judging by what happened today. keep your silver away from acids. Cloudy ammonia is for silver.. unless you know or dont care, Silver is a consumable in the process
