I sent 2 kilos of pennies (KG V - Eliz II) registered post that never made it to the destination When the purchaser informed me it hadn't arrived some 7 days later, I entered the tracking number to see what happened. Nothing showed up! It wasn't scanned in at my post office and went missing between there and clearing place in Sydney and subsequently no record of it ever showed up Made a claim, soon as they found it was coins informed me that they accept no liability (see D3.2) My lesson was to ALWAYS have your tracked goods scanned in at your post office, be informed of who has liability for the sent product and who doesn't (in this case the government run Australia post) Thanks for giving us the heads up and most of all, bad luck mate! I've reached the point where I'm not prepared to send or receive bullion for more than the amount that I'm prepared to lose. A bit like putting $20 into the pokies. F2F every time for large amounts. Only exception is a bullion dealer that either takes all liability or offers transit insurance.
