I've pondered this many times, how is it that the mints can achieve a perfectly frosted raised finish on an exquisitely mirrored coin? Looking back at myself (often with the Queen/panda/some other animal or object partially obscuring a section of my face) in some coins often gives me a headache/makes my feel cross-eyed as my focus changes from the coin to the reflection and back while looking for obvious mistakes in the finish. Anyone know the answer without google?
