Aaargh, 'tis a good question Dirtbikepilot. Our Hotel46 is quite a formidable pirate and 'twould be very bad form to insult him with incorrect pirate-ware. For tonight's little do it would probably be appropriate to scrape any dried fish off the soles of one's boots, and cover up any open wounds with a piece of old rag, or something equally faded. Pieces of dried food which have not been intentionally stored in the beard should generally be shaken out before entering the room.
