I like the look of these Do any stackers have any leads to any legitimate Mexican 5 Peso Cuauhtemoc's 1947/48? cheer$
The Cuauhtemoc is about my favourite coin ...from memory the '47 has a much lower mintage than the '48...doesn't seem to make them a premium item ,though I have a couple of each ,but not parting with them ,sorry, You should not have too much trouble finding them ,though
If this is the mentioned coin, I've one. It's a bigger one than usual, 30 gram 0.900, the same as the 1976 50 French Franc Why 'legitimate'? Do fake versions exist?
They are probably hard to find in Australia. I see there is one on ebay.com.au for $40 You might have to get them from the US: 1947-1948 Mexican Silver 5 Pesos Cuauhtemocs ASW .8681 oz Quantity : 229 Unit Price: $26.16* - See more at: http://www.apmex.com/product/8558/1...-cuauhtemocs-asw-8681-oz#sthash.onuEvuDY.dpuf * Higher price for a small quantity Or Mexico: http://articulo.mercadolibre.com.mx...o-pesos-fechas-1947-y-1948-plata-ley-0900-_JM

Mine is not magnetic, that's a test I always do. I did receive a couple fake 50FF as mentioned above a couple months ago though. Trying to get my money back the legal way now.
