There was an episode when they were out near Alice Springs at the Henbury meteorite craters. Have been out there the craters are rather unimpressive in size. But they seem to find some fragments.
Yes seen a couple of shows. I have collections of rocks from Mt Isa and Herberton North Qld to the South. Always finding some Aboriginal spearheads, Axe heads, stone tools grinding tools and rocks with plants, shells and insects hundreds of thousands of years old caught in time in them.
Seeing this has made e get out my box of metoerites, I really need to get back into it, I have never been to look for my own. I think it's time for a trip! It's been 10 years since I bought anything. I must say that a quick look at eBay tells me I haven't made any money on what I did buy!
Well at least they have held their price! Stack meteorites to hedge against inflation. I wish I had a box of meteorites!
