It was a good meeting. Captain Kookaburra gave an interesting talk on steganography, specifically on hiding bullion in plain sight. He also recommended the book "Makers" by Chris Anderson, and spoke on how small scale production is becoming more economical.

Good auction with a variety of bars and coins.

Great time again - and yes bargains galore. People even being paid to take large, flat sovereigns :) . Where else but a Melbourne Silver Stackers meeting!!

Best thing at the auction I think was the one only "error" XAG - what a bargain!

Next one is scheduled for the 5th of August. Put it in your diary!

There was no bid for an item at the reserve price, and someone commented "you would have to pay me $5 to take that home". So the seller handed the item and $5 to this guy who accepted them. There's been a few unusual happenings at the Melbourne meetings and it usually involves Captain Kookaburra.
