Just wondering if anyone is going to the show over the weekend? I'm thinking of checking it out, if anyone has been before what is to be expected? I figure at Etihad Stadium it will get a pretty decent crowd. I've also heard that CIT will have a stand there offering some of their Tiffany and Mongolian Wildlife coins, might get a chance to pick something up at a not-inflated price
I'm down from Sydney. I'll be with the Bullion List set. See you there, come over and introduce yourself.
I don't think that CIT will offer any Tiffany or Mongolian Wildlife coins for sale, maybe they will only show 1 sample to crowd but definitely don't sell. These coins are sold out as they state in their website, where would they get new coins to sell, and at issue price? But maybe I am wrong, guys please keep us update Alex.
CiT brought alot of coins...i didn't adk if its for sale or not...its not like i can afford it anyway.
ANDA coin show special lenticular coin Sister city coin Saint Petersburg - Melbourne , only 2000 made
I grabbed one on spanner monkeys praise, but failed to notice the lady serving me My mate said she was a 11 out of 10, maybe I need to have two in my collection? That's my story to my wife so I can return to buy another
If they start selling for more than $200  You owe me a coffe And none of that IR crap the Eureka Moments loves
If they go to $200 I'll have to drop down to the QV market and get some fresh beans by the sound of it?
It's what lowlife dumbass panelbeater drink I no longer work in that industry And Moccona is the cheapest / worst coffee I would drink
Bit disappointed with the turnout - there's a fantastic range of numismatic items on offer from heaps of vendors - I spent some time this afternoon scoping out various Centenary florins (always wanted one). Really had my eye on the $225,000 Adelaide Pound, but I'd already bought two cokes and that wiped me out. Picked up some S1 Lunar gold fractionals at bargain prices (they've migrated to the Gold Stackers display case until I work out which one it was CK needs for his collection). If you haven't gotten along to it, get there - Royal Canadian Mint, Royal Mint, and a couple of other international exhibitors are there, no doubt wondering where the crowds are. Catch the train to Southern Cross and enter through gate 9, or park on Bourke St in the public carpark and walk across. Kudos to ANDA for putting on an international show and getting international exhibitors down here - as one of the speakers at Gold Symposium said in Sydney a few days earlier - "Australia, it's so turtling far from anywhere!".
Anyone manage to grab one of the Birth Of A Prince PNCs at the show? Noticed they're going for quite a premium on Ebay! http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_...e&_nkw=birth+of+a+prince+pnc+limited&_sacat=0
