    Mt.Gox had 302 $/Bitcoin recently. Wild oscillations.

    Bitinfocharts: 511 $, Bitcoinwisdom: 586 $, Bitstamp: 589 $.

Is anyone still experiencing "technical difficulties" with Mt.Gox withdrawals? I guess if the difficulties are over, it will fall to hell.

I am guessing: perhaps when Bitcoin and Litecoin fall, then many will run to buy cheaper alt coins. Perhaps Dogecoin, Primecoin, Quarkcoin would rise in price. They're down too, but how much worse can in be for them? I guess it's the expensive coins that are bad to hold right now: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Novacoin...

Well I am still in line waiting for BTC to be processed for my withdrawal on the BTER Exchange since Wednesday.

This is what I got when I first emailed them about the delay.

    Dear Sir,/Madam,
Your request has been recorded for processing. Please wait.

Now that's funny. What am I expected to do? Of course I am waiting.

Sent one last night to them to see what progress they have made.

    Dear Sir/Madam,
There is something wrong with BTC networking and we are fixing it.
Your question is expected to be fixed in two or three days at most.

all exchanges have stopped withdrawals due to the malleability vulnerability, hopefully fixed in the next few days.

I got 3 BTC out of Cryptsy in a few minutes just an hour ago ? Mind you it took the mongrels over 12 hours to process a Doge deposit yesterday.

I've heard some success with generating a new wallet on Cryptsy after their wallet changes went through earlier in the week.

Apparently much quicker. But yet to try myself.

Yeah, I missed it. I know they were referring to "technical difficulties", but...

Where will all the coins go? Or all the money in there?

I never bought any Bitcoins, I'm just learning about this phenomenon.

Do you have any good news sources on the developments? What is causing all this havoc?

If Mt.Gox dies, Bitcoin gets really hurt. To say the least!

I suppose exchanges are having problems with fiat releases and not the coins.

It would be so ugly if they wouldn't release the coins.

(Thankfully I'm not into the alt coin trading)

I knew about the Mt.Gox "technical issues", but thanks for the details. I see the problem is far more serious than it first looked.
