Mass Credit Card cancellation due to unspecified security breach..

    "The breach involved the client of an Australian bank offering card transaction facilities.

    Banking sources would not identify the merchant or bank involved, however St George Bank emerged as the only institution that would not flatly deny it was the bank in question."

    anyone seeing a theme here, I mean over the last 12 months we have had a number of banks having issues with providing money. Closed ATM's, no online transactions, now credit card issues. I would like to put a small wager on the fact that the aussie banks are capital poor. I get the feeling all the bailouts in europe are trickling through to Aus.

    I am slowly removing my savings and storing it in other forms, I dont trust them, one iota :(
