Does anyone have a idea what is a fair price for the MP 5 oz silver graded P67? The actual mintage is 504 pieces according to Mr Ge's book ( 3 stars) so the coin is pretty scarce. I gather that the 69 is $7500 and the 68 is about $5500. Though a P67 is not considered a good grade in terms of investment etc, would the scarcity of the coin override the grade? How would this play out in terms of other high valued coins, for example, the 1983-1985 silver panda proofs? Would you advice buying a 68 to 'get your foot in' for those interested in these proofs or would you say, "don't bother with a 68, save up for a 69".

With a coin of such low mintage, a 68 is OK if that's all you can afford.

If I had to guess, I'd say a 67 is probably worth somewhere around $3500-$4000
