$900 is too cheap. Some of those individual coins sell for well over $100, even $150+ I wouldn't sell my set in display case for anything less than $1200
I think you bought the last set sold here on the forum $1000.I would not give much extra for the box. which one sells over $150? care to share?

There are 12 coins in the set. With some of them being worth below $100 (Goat etc) and some worth more than $100 (Ox, Rabbit etc) I think at a minimum you could expect an average of $100 per coin, meaning $1200. Add to that, there aren't many complete sets available for sale so their rarity adds value too and a nice wooden custom box is worth $50+ as well If you can find a set for $900, or find all 12 being sold individually for $900 total then please let me know The set is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I'm just speaking for myself, but I wouldn't sell mine for anything less than $1200, and to be honest I'd want more than that, but I'm not selling
Yeah if I could get one or if anyone was selling a set for $900 I would jump on it to I think if you tried to get the proper lunar series 1 wooden box you wouldn't get one for less than $60 maybe more?
And yep, I was the last person to buy a complete set here and I paid $1000 (Paid extra for a display box) I also remember there were several comments on how much of a good deal I got, so the general consensus was that I got a bit of a bargain (which I def thought I did) so based on that and the comments I think the set is worth well over $1000. Honestly, if someone offered me $1500 it would probably be more than fair but I wouldn't sell.
That sounds fair I wouldn't sell either I haven't seen any whole sets In the short time I've collecting or any other display boxes It's a great investment for the future
