    Hi,
I have been offered some 1 ounce silver proof koala coins/medallions produced by a company who GP will kill me for mentioning, for a bit above spot, they are in their capsules but may not be carded, are these able to be sold easily or are they hard to move?
Does it matter if they are uncarded?

    Thanks in advance,
    Blake.

    Thanks thatguy,

Sorry for the vagueness, they are a carded 1 ounce silver coin produced by Downies, I have seen them on ebay for US$55, just not sure if they are worth the price I can get them for and whether or not they will be hard to sell down the track?

without a $ value they will be a very hard sell IMHO. Better off with 1oz dragon privy which can be picked up here for much less then $55

Hi I know of what product your talking about. they are 99.9% silver 1oz medallions. they did sell very well a few years ago, but mainly to tourists. the koala was a great cheap gift. but with the australian dollar shooting up , tourist dissapeared. these medallion do not move as well now.

If your thinking about the future, only get them if they are close to bullion price, as they are only good for the silver content. no real collectable value.

    Hi James,
Thank you for your reply, I think I will pass on them, it seems to me that some silver and gold products seems to struggle a little/lot to sell when they are not readily recognised, I think I will stick to stacking more familiar stuff, even if silver hit $100 an ounce people will stick to the regular stuff.

    Blake.
