I practice 'equal opportunity' when it comes to my collection/stack. I prefer OMP for the least premium but will buy a slabbed one if the price is the same or close to what I can get an unslabbed for. Here are my 2 favorite 70s among the few that I have...

Will take better shots when I have time. Only for Pandas I prefer slabs over OMP... it is an insult to keep my pandas in dirty plastic pouches! :p

So Here I was, seeing the heading 'show us your 70's'. I thought I was going to see cool stuff from the 70's. Proves I don't know much slang about coins!
Oh I did have a giggle at my own expense.

:p I mean they do not look great in the plastic bag as most of the time the bags are pretty scuffed.

Currently there is only 1 gold and 2 silver Bob Marley coin issues, all issued by Jamaica (and minted by the British Royal Mint). The gold is from 1995 and denominated $100 with a mintage of 2,000. The silver are from 1995 & 2005 denominated $50 with mintages of 30,000 and 5,000 respectively. The 2005 silver has a gold plated Marley effigy. The gold is 1/2 troz of gold and the silver are crown sized sterling silver (.925) weighing 28.28 grams. Hope the additional info is helpful. They do get listed on the Bay of e every now and then.

some non coin related info if your interested?
Bob Marley & the wailers Confrontation Album cover is of Bob as St George on a horse slaying the dragon.
Ethiopia & England's patron saint is Saint George.
    RasTafari
The Emperor Haile Selassie personal flag is Green, Gold & Red tri-band with the Lion of Judah on one side
& the Saint George slaying the dragon on the other.

when receiving the Knights Garter the emperor requested two stalls in saint George's chapel in Windsor
one for being the Emperor of Ethiopia & the second for being the Lion of Judah
a compromise was done with one stall & duel banner

Thanks for the info. I also have a 1972 Ethiopia silver Crown coin with Haile Selassie on the obverse and the Lion of Judah on the reverse. On my wish list is a G-Shock watch in reggae/Rastafarian colors.
