    Made in 2011, but still relevant. It's 2014 and Japan hasn't karked it yet, but here again in 2011 he's expressing his bet against it.
    Took 'asymmetrical hedges' against stuff that was long US housing before the GFC crisis, ka-ching!
    Next up was bets against Greek sovereign debt, ka-ching!
    Now (still) it would be bets against Japan Govt Bonds, ka-ch... oh no, that hasn't happened yet.

    Defends his shorting of stuff his fund doesn't own - as a 'prudent fiduciary' he's duty bound to look for the best hedges he can to balance his primarily long investments. Defends accusation he might be contributing to crises by shorting - says he has used 'synthetic' credit default swaps or something, so no underlying asset to affect by short selling? In Part 2 his ownership of physical gold and the expansion of money supply is touched upon.
