So when Perth Mint says "unlimited" for the number of say 10oz-2014 kooks does that mean they will make as many as demand dictates for that year only or they reserve the right to make more 10oz-2014 kooks years later?
They will make as many on demand, until the next years coin gets minted. There shouldn't be any "restrikes" of previous years' 10 oz coins.
the 1990 1oz and the 1992 & 1993 2oz & 10oz (bullion) have the same bird - what's the reason ? , just that the gap is 3 years between these coins
The nicest kooks ever http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-18990-blue-kookaburra-s-where-do-they-come-from.html '
that is one of my favorite coin.took me a while to get.there was one for sale at JamesG's store in Parramatta couple of years back for around $1300-1400 if I remember correctly.mintage is very low and hardly ever comes up for sale.I've seen one on ebay(the seller is on the goldie) and was asking around $1500.another from the usa was around the same. there is 3 coin in the "series" from 1999-2001. mine is definitely not for sale....
