We are trying to determine the age and value of Mom's silverware. There is a crescent, a crown, 800 and a grouse imprinted on the pieces. It is an almost complete set for 12 with many serving pieces. We would like to find out what some of the pieces are used for. There is a soup ladle, gravy spoon, cake, pie ,salad dessert forks and several sizes of forks. The most interesting one is a rippled serving piece. Cake ??
We think the set is made by Karl Kaltenbach and Sohne. KK

Any ideas where we should check next ?
