Johnson Matthey take over new mint mark?

    I think they'd be silly if the did change. Particularly after the CEO recognised in his statement Mathhey's history and Tradition. That's what they bought... along with the equipment. Would seem a shame to throw it away.

    I suspect it will change
    The statement says

    The Salt Lake City, USA and Brampton, Canada refineries will collectively operate as "Asahi Refining."

    Additionally, they didn't purchase the whole business, just the precious metals division, so the other parts of J.M. will be still using that name.

    There may however be a long changeover time, may even be years.
