Didn't he say in an earlier video some 4 months ago that he would be buying below $1200 ? I know you have the right to change your mind but I'm thinking he too is starting to come out with some questionable guidance? I'm mean sugar? really? go figure that one out.
If stored correctly, sugar doesn't decompose, and has an indefinite shelf life..... sort of like silver really....
He's been into sugar as long as I've heard from him. He never gives a target because he's too humble, and "sub 1000" is more than "a 50% correction"
White sugar is one of the very few things that mice and rats will not touch - in fact they prefer to eat cardboard, in preference to sugar. I suppose that it speaks volumes of it's nutritional content.
He said he bought a little gold at the time and said he would buy more if it went lower. JR has been consistent that a 50% correction of a commodity within a bull market is normal and has mentioned the $900-less than a thousand range every time. He mentioned below $1000 as the point where he would buy a lot more. JR has been consistently recommending sugar for the last few years too. Sugar is the only incorrect call he has made that I have seen. With sugar you have too many variables like the US Govt. subsidies and sweetener substitutions.
I read somewhere that coffee beans could be in a drought so who ever can buy coffee futures maybe that's a goer too ?
all you need is a cow shortage and Gloria Jeans & Starbucks would be either up the creek or making a mother load $$$
